The safety and welfare of children should be a great concern to all Americans. A child’s welfare can greatly influence the kind of adult he or she may become. The holidays can be a sad time for needy children who receive nothing for Christmas.
The Children’s Safety Bureau (CSB) is a volunteer, 501 C3 non-profit service organization (tax ID #94-3110915) serving communities state wide in Washington, Oregon, California, Montana, Alaska and Idaho.
As in years past, the CSB will be sponsoring the annual “Needy Children’s Shopping Spree” which provides gifts, clothes, and hope to needy children who would otherwise receive nothing for Christmas.
Needy children are recommended for the “Needy Children’s Shopping Spree” only by organizations that work with poverty stricken families. These disadvantaged children with special needs will be taken to the store for a Christmas shopping spree they will remember forever.
Parents, service organization volunteers, and a select few community members will serve as chaperons during the shopping sprees. This is a well-organized and supervised event that will allow children from your community to have a Christmas they would otherwise not have.
